For many years across our CIS sites, case managed students have had the privilege of working with Boys To Men Mentoring Virginia. This year at Huguenot High School, students have been graced with Mr. Angel. Each week, the group dives into important topics like peer pressure, self-control, and how our actions impact others.
Mr. Angel’s story of redemption after incarceration is inspiring—he shows the boys that no matter how tough things get, change is always possible. It’s been amazing to watch the group grow, and the boys have even started bringing their friends in—this group quickly reached capacity!
Another huge thank you to everyone at Boys to Men who donated shoes to our boys group. These small gestures go a long way in building trust and confidence.
Our Site Coordinators, Abby + Casey are seeing real breakthroughs as the young men open up, connect with their emotions, and support each other in a safe, trusted space. The partnership has been a game-changer, and we can’t wait to continue this journey! We are so proud of you all.
